The part of X11R3’s xcalc featuring a slide rule

This is the part of X11R3’s xcalc1 utility that features a historic Slide Rule. This is not taken to be too serious, it’s merely a little fun project for those people who have learned their basics of mathemat- ics and logarithms by using such a nice ``pocket calculator’’.

The original xcalc is from John Bradley, and Mark Rosenstein. A number of bugs and inaccuracies fixed by Joerg Wunsch.
